I'm Trent Delgadillo. I'm 22, and I've spent the last four years on ladders.
It started with a pressure washer. At 18 I had one, a truck, and a list of driveways in Portland, Oregon. That turned into Blue Heron, a roof cleaning company. Roof cleaning is honest work. You either get the moss off or you don't, and the customer can see the answer from the street. I hired a crew, learned to quote from a photo, learned what one bad ladder day costs, and built Blue Heron to $77,000 a month in revenue by the time I was 22. Then I sold it.
Holiday lighting started as the thing that kept my crew working in November. Portland rains from October to May. Roof cleaning slows down. Christmas lights don't. So in 2022 I started The Holiday Light Professionals and ran it for four seasons, 2022 through 2025. Hundreds of homes across the Portland metro. Fourteen Google reviews, every one of them five stars. Not one real customer ever left a one-star. I designed the layouts, I hung the lights, I took the calls when a bulb went out, and I stored every set in January with the customer's name on the bin.
In the summer of 2026 I sold the Portland operation. I'd built two businesses in the same town and I wanted to build the third somewhere it's harder. Las Vegas is harder. Tile roofs. Stucco. HOAs with display dates. Two-story tracts with no fascia to clip to. And a market where every installer has the same website and not one of them puts a name on it. I moved here in September 2026.
